Hola hola! My name is Fabiola Angelí and I am the owner and creator of Growthbound Journeys. I am a holistic coach, artist, and tour guide. I am a creative soul passionate about holistic living, personal growth and change, art, travel, and love.

Why Costa Rica? I was born and raised in Puerto Rico and in 2022 I fell in love with Costa Rica. I first visited for 2.5 months while working as a youth mentor, but that was enough for me to know I wanted to live here. After that, I visited about 6 more times and on January 1st of 2025 I finally moved. Costa Rica felt like home from the first time I visited and that is rare to find. Costa Rica combines the magic of Nature, exploration, and the pura vida lifestyle to be a place of healing, growth, and change.

Why personal growth? My travel motto is “LEAN IN” because to travel is to grow. Throughout my years traveling I have realized that the world is the best teacher and that I have experienced exponential growth and change during my travels. Travel takes me outside of my comfort zone. I get to expand my mind and my heart in order to experience this world with non judgemental curiosity, respect, love, and kindness. Furthermore, most people choose to travel seeking healing and reconnection which is part of growth.

Why local tourism? I had the opportunity to visit more rural areas and experience community based tourism and I fell in love with it. The impact we can have on the locals when we travel is immense and so is their impact on us if we have an open heart. Costa Rica is full of tourism, but there is nothing like getting to experience the local culture, the raw Nature, the lovely people, and supporting local brands and businesses.
